Neemuch. The meeting of wheat traders of the district related to wheat stock limit has been organized under the chairmanship of Additional Collector Neha Meena. District Supply Officer RN Diwakar and traders were present in the meeting. In the meeting, instructions were given to the wheat traders to compulsorily declare the wheat stock on the portal.
In the meeting, discussions were held regarding the implementation of the stock limit in the notification issued by the Government of India on June 12, 2019 from the traders, wholesalers, retailers, big chain retailers of the district. It was informed in the meeting that traders, wholesalers 3 thousand tonnes, retailers 10 tonnes, big chain retailers 3 thousand tonnes, processors will have to do 75 percent of their annual installed capacity within the prescribed limit related to wheat. The trader has to declare the stock every Friday weekly on the Government of India portal. Every trader doing wheat business of the district on the portal will create the login of his firm and use his login id password after receiving the password from the OTP. Traders will send a copy of the announcement made on the said portal to the District Food Office on the email ID. All traders, wholesalers, retailers of the district, Will create Login ID on Big Chain Retailer Portal. Also, its information will be sent to the email ID of the District Food Office. Traders will update their stock on the portal according to the correct account, records and incoming and outgoing. Action will be taken as per rules under the provisions of the Essential Commodities Act 1955 on the basis of any variation found and irregularities found during inspection.
